Nyx Cant Stop Wont Stop Foundation Brush Review

Hey everyone,

I know how late I am with this one.. but today I want to review the massively hyped up NYX Tin can't Stop Won't End foundation. I purchased this in January and have wore it most days since and so I remember I've used it plenty to give you lot all a full opinion on information technology! Despite the fact I featured this in my January favourites, my views may have slightly changed.. So if yous're interested, merely proceed reading.

Overview & Claims
This NYX foundation comes in 45 different shades which is definitely impressive. There are a variety of undertones and then y'all should be able to find something that works for you!
A 30ml bottle of this will cost £15 – which is more expensive than drugstore foundations, but less than loftier stop, which is basically what I'd expect from NYX.

NYX depict this as 'lightweight, waterproof & pigmented AF'. It is said to be a comfortable total coverage foundation, that will glide on smoothly and stay truthful to color for 24 hours. NYX say this is a matte stop foundation that will command shine. It is targeted at people with normal, oily, combination and sensitive peel.

Review
As volition all of my foundations I apply this with a foundation brush. I accept been wearing it mostly over a dewy primer such every bit the NYX Dearest Dew Me Up or the Revolution Superfruit Extract.
I take found that information technology is best to apply this foundation to different sections of your confront at a time – rather than applying all over and so blending it out. It is dries down fast, so you demand to become it blended out speedily. Therefore it isn't the easiest to apply and needs to be worked with. As suggested past NYX the finish is super matte and it definitely provides total coverage. If you're into a very matte finish then you will like this, however it'southward then matte that it looks quite flat on the confront. This isn't a foundation that y'all can build upwards in my opinion as it becomes cakey easily, however this isn't much of an issue as the coverage doesn't need building up for me.
However, sometimes this foundation looks cakey on me without building it upwardly at all, the reason is being that it sticks to whatsoever dry patches, even ones I didn't know I had. Simply NYX haven't said that this foundation is suitable for dry skin, and it actually isn't. My pare is somewhere between normal and dry, and I was hoping I could get away with this foundation.
For the first couple of weeks wearing this, I did actually similar it! The colour is peachy and doesn't oxidize. The staying power is splendid and information technology controls any shine so well. But now I've been wearing it consistently for over a calendar month, it has definitely dried my pare out and has started to make my face look like the Sahara Desert. And equally I said, clinging to any piddling dry patch and highlights whatsoever texture!
If you accept oilier skin though and desire a matte terminate full coverage look, this could be amazing for y'all!

NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop after iv hours wear. If y'all wait closely you can encounter the dry patches on my chin and a lilliputian around my nose.

– Not for dry skin
– Looks flat and a piffling 'powdery' on the peel
– Can highlight texture

Overall, I recall this is an amazing foundation for the correct person, only that just sadly isn't me. If you have even slightly dry out skin, I wouldn't recommend this for you. But for anyone else looking for a matte full coverage foundation, this could be perfect for you!

I will employ this canteen up on hot days, but I incertitude I'll exist repurchasing!
